Thanks! It was a little of both. I used a 70mm zoom lense, but I'm also good with bird calls which often comforts the bird and allows me to get somewhat close to them.

Red stripes

Nice pic! But the female Wilson's doesn't have red stripes below like you can see in this photo. This bird looks more like a male Yellow Warbler.
