Bone dry
Super fun slot! I took a couple of out-of-state friends through as their first technical canyoneering adventure. Simple raps, lots of down climbs where we got to work on chimneying maneuvers, and a fun scramble out.

You Like a Taco Dish?
This was an amazing slot! I was impressed with how much this offered in such a small amount. We rappelled in the first part of upper canyon, then did the large rap after that. Absolutely amazing and gorgeous! The down climbs were amazing! We used a bit of webbing for the 8 month pregnant lady in our group for some down climbs. A fun little pot hole escape towards the end. Then the climb out had a few fourth class moments. It really had it all, and not to mention chest deep water and it was chilly, but just an instant favorite.

6/7/08 - Did it a second time. In drier (3AI) conditions.
And a couple more times since then. Have also done nearby Boltergeist.

Yankee Doodle
A relaxed rest day from climbing or running....enjoyed the company immensely, three young med students from Wisconsin along with Joe and his wife. The admission price for the comedic repertoire was quite the bargain. Look forward to hooking up with this crew again next year.
ps. mid week and all and I'll be damned if I did not run into Jeff guiding Yankee Doodle....I survived, he was easy on me (big Giants fan)....been avoiding him like the plaque since the Superbowl)
