Hi and thanks. Yes this mountain can turn on someone quickly and one needs to be prepared. We only started climbing the gully routes after we spent time climbing less difficult routes to the top and learning about the weather and mountain but even with that experience it is easy to become disoriented in bad weather up there.

Great trip report!Glad to hear you made it back safely. Even for the experienced, being momentarily lost on Mt. Washington at night in the winter could've ended badly.
