thank you for another nice contribution. Your report and pics are very nice. That same day, I did my first ski ascent ever, of Piz Coluonnas near the Julierpass, Bivio, CH. Beautiful day with only the sound of crispy snow and sunshine in our faces. Days like that is why we do it...

I think the problem with the camera was the steel body which freezes more than plastic.
