nice account Carl, we will have to try that one in a future visit. We just got back from a week in Benasque and the locals told us that the snow was very heavy this year. We made an attempt on Forcanada from La Besurta but gave it up when weather conditions, deep snow, whiteout etc, stopped us finding the Col de Albert. Later in the week we did get up Perdiguero but that was in whiteout too, so no nice view fotos.
