Re: Awesome

Thanks, there are a lot of peaks out there waiting to be put up for sure. Some untapped gems. Thanks for the nice comments.

Re: Good work

Interesting that you would comment on this as, since this hike, I went up to the Olympics to hike to avoid these issues (Mt. Rose).

Haines, eh? You are right near Rattlesnake Hill then. But you have some beautiful choices between the Elkhorns and the Wallowas (and Idaho peaks).

Agree on the ticks. I wish we could invest some tick-DNA attacking spray to wipe them out, but then we'd probably find they were the main cog in the environment........nah, wipe 'em out!

Thanks for the nice words. I rely on your info for most of my Olympic trip and route info.

Re: Good work

Mt. Rose was a good one for this time of year. Nice work out, quick, and some decent views. You should try some Gorge hikes, you get nice elevation, most are tick free and would save you a few hours drive time.

I've been getting frustrated with the still-low snow levels this year. If you know any more like Rose that are accessible this time of year while the big ones are not, feel free to pass along.

Cheers,
Brian
