Willow Gentian in Bieszczady Mountains - Poland

Willow Gentian ( Gentiana asclepiadea) is a popular plant in the Carpathian Mountains. It can reach even 1 meter in height. Willow gentian is a protected species. The plant is poisonous and has a bitter taste, which is a deterrent for wildlife.
