Lovely Traverse
Decided to start my Beatout hike with White Baldy via White Pine. Was great fun. Although a couple of my hiking books recommend doing this when snow covers the boulders, for someone who loves bouldering, this is the greatest playground there is! I saw a couple guys near the trailhead, other than that no one until I was up on Pfeiff.

White Pine
First hike of the season, mid June and there was still a bit of slushy snow and mud on approx. 20% of the trail. Took 4 hours for the hike to the lake and back. 3.8 miles each way. Only encountered about 4 groups of hikers in that whole time which was great.
