Re: Great alpine

Thanks Silvia! Yes, I love this "grand cours" idea...why just do a climb when you can do a "grand cours?" :D

Very nice

Wow. Easily one of the best trip reports I have seen, especially the phenomenal pictures. Amazing! Blessed indeed with the weather.

Re: Very nice

I wish I had a big font to write "Big Time" regarding the weather!

great TR

I am currently reading the diary of the first Danish woman who climbed Everest, and I can also say, that your two trip reports are much more interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Re: great TR

Thanks! Well my "feats" are much less impressive, but I do think the variety you get by working with smaller mountains and ranges make them better (again, IMHO).

I missed this!

Finally someone else from SP has done the Tasch-Dom! I have been waiting since I wrote the route page for it - but missed that you had sneaked in a quick TR! I really enjoyed reading and seeing photos of what it is like now, 26 years after I did it... less snow on the scary descent from the Tasch, but other than that much the same (I thought the rocks up the Dom side were like climbing stacked dinner plates!)
And I enjoyed reading about your other exploits.
Best wishes and safe climbs for 2013
Mark

Re: I missed this!

Thanks Mark, I'm really glad to send echoes so many years later! I read and enjoyed your report, and now I just finished your Brenva Face report...which is one of the best I ever read. I can sympathize with withering calves on ice faces...I've felt the same too many times to count! Congratulations on picking up climbing again after a time away, looks like it's been amazing...keep up the great work in 2013 :).
