"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

repeatCame back for a repeat of this scramble after doing the Apache Couloir. The traverse from Apache is airy with a bit of class 4. Some lingering snow made the moves in the chimney a bit spicier, but still reasonable. We took an optional 5.4ish chimney after traversing right out of the west chimney that took us to near the summit. Navajo is a cool summit!

sweet scrambleenjoyable climb in a smaller chimney. not what i was expecting, but it was a great time! the three smaller snowfields near the base of the chimney were easily avoided.
