We're not alone on the glacier today

As we were on our way on the Rofenkarferner, to go around the Wildspitze to the base of the north face, we spotted this group ahead of us. Soon after we lost sight of them, so they must have followed a different route after all. Perhaps they went up the NE ridge? That's the big one stretching right to left, ahead of us - the high point in the middle is just a bump on the ridge - the true summit is well to the left, outside this view. We're heading for to the base of the ridge too, but only to cross over, to the Taschachferner on the other side. 8 July 2012.
