"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

North RidgeFun scramble up the north ridge. The route isn't obvious from below since it looks pretty steep. But the rock is actually pretty stable, which makes for some fun climbing. Here’s a trip-report and some photos.

North RidgeWith Fred. Up the north ridge, down the south, over to WCP 8 and back to just north of the small peak on the ridge - we then descended the meadows between 7 and 8 to the northernmost basin to the west, down and around to Iron Basin back to Ocalkens. 9.5 hour day - grand views and great fun.

North RidgeHiked up to Ocalkens Lake with grandfather and while he fished at the lake, I scrambled up the north ridge. Seeing the dead baby Bighorn was surprising. I left a summit register on top and the views were excellent. Partly Sunny, Windy and 65 F.
