Warm weather, sunshine,...

Warm weather, sunshine,...

Warm weather, sunshine, climbing in cool shade with a great view...why anyone would want to climb somewhere else is beyond me! Here I am going for another round on an unknown route that felt like 5.10b on Trapper Dome (July 2004) - Courtright Reservoir

Re: Balanced Camera

Ah, it was easy. Fortunately I have a very, very tiny camera.

Yes, HAVE TO is right. Let's hope the rock is similar around that side of Trapper Dome. Check out the Carson Kodas Arete route page for details.

Route Name

Based on what I've seen back there and the tree's location in the background, this could be 'Anyone Got a Cigarette?' (.10b). It was put up James Gonzales in 1992. Used to work in Fresno at California Outfitters. Now, from what I've seen within the last 5 years, there are now 6 routes back there on that wall (ranging from 5.8 to 5.10b). Good stuff!

BTW, can I hire CheekyMonkey as a tiny camera man?

Re: Route Name

Yes, those routes are on some very nice granite. Thanks for the details, Dave.

And CheekyMonkey provides photography services in exchange for route leads on any weekend. Call him for dates and availability!

Oh have you ever tried climbing

Lake Louise Falls on a cool nite with a full moon and nobody else around but you and your partner at two thirty am . Or another fun route on a full moon is the Snake Dike Route on Half Dome another world of climbing Full Moon Climbing . It is some bitchin climbing. kinda like surfing Torrance Cliffs under a Full Moon
