"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

for LunaWould have been Lunadog's 14th birthday today. Hiked with her collar to the top. No larches on this trail so I need to do something else in this area this weekend to see some.

Route Climbed: Wapaloosie Trail #15 Date Climbed: May 27, 2005Having climbed nearby Copper Butte twice before, I decided to tackle another of the five 7,000-footers in the Kettle Range. I could tell that I was the first one up there this season, since there were no footprints in the patches of snow on the summit. Although I only did this as a dayhike, I could tell that the campground at the Wapaloosie Trailhead, and the campsite at the summit, would make a great weekend destination to explore the Kettle Range.
