On the summit of Pollux (13425 ft / 4092 m)

On the summit of Pollux (13425 ft / 4092 m); Pieter (left) and me enjoying the views on a perfect day in August. We were the first to summit that day. Back at the crux below the Madonna it was getting busy, so we were glad to be on our way down already. Mont blanc (4810m) is just to the left of us and Grand Combin just to the right. The Breithorn peaks are at the right with Roccia Nera closest by. Behind Breithorn you can just see the tip of Matterhorn sticking out behind. The main peak in the far right is (behind) is Dent Blanche. See fullsize image for details... August 2015
