Phantom Ranch

The famous Phantom Ranch. I passed by here 4 times and yet, I never stepped inside. The signs by the door are so unfriendly, every time I looked at the entrance it made me cringe and walk away without sticking my head in. I'm sure they are tired of hiker or runners bringing their gear inside the restaurant, but in a such remote place there must be a way of saying that nicely. Also, I don't think that not ordering your meal in advance requires a chopped in wood sign, literary. But what do I know? Anyway, I never darken the door of this place. Maybe next time. All the signs with all those restrictions are blocked by the foreground tree: I did not want them in my picture.
