Uruashraju from the NW, early in the morning
We camped at the end of Quebrada Rurec, aiming to climb Uruashraju. Early next morning, we got up at 4:30. There were low clouds on the surrounding mountains. It didn't look promising, but that didn't stop us. An hour later, all we had to do was pack our tent and we would be on our way to high camp. However, the weather hadn't improved, so we decided to wait.
Fortunately, when the sun rose higher, the clouds disappeared quickly, and although our camp was still in the shadow of the mountains, it cleared up completely in no time.
