It's cold and windy on Garganta, the Huascarán col - let's go to a warmer place.
We descended with mixed emotions.
We were glad to get down from the mountain, because without the sun, Campo Dos, high on Huascarán is a cold and windy place.
Sad because, due to illness first and strong winds later, two of our party couldn't even start their summit bid.
