In the burned out forest of...
In the burned out forest of the Kay Creek drainage not much was alive. These patches of new grasses were a refreshing change of scenery. Martin mentioned that walking through them was like that opening scene from The Gladiator. The grass tops were about waist-high. Oct. 15, 2004.
