Banner's south slopes from...
Banner's south slopes from the summit of Mount Ritter. Ritter's steep north face is the route John Muir took for the "first" ascent, and is loose class 3 climbing with non-trivial route finding challenges (though I have not done it).
Mono Lake is in the distance, directly over Banner's summit. Parker Peak is the red summit on the left hand side of the photo.
