Re: NiceCheers. After climbing the traverse route over the Nadelhorn (the ridge line from left to right) we stayed in the hut in order to climb this face the next day, but when we woke the weather was too bad. I'll have to go back next year!

Re: NiceIt is graded about "D" and it was in condition last week. Early in the season it would be in even better condition - neve snow etc. Even if totally iced up the route would not take too long - it is not as steep as it looks and is an even gradient all the way up. The best guide book is produced by The Alpine Club.

I've been on the Ulrichshorn this year but the weather was so awful, didn't see anything of all this... Damn I'm jealous ;-)
