6/27/04 - View of Shepherd's Pass from the middle of the moraines. The trail starts in the center right, and switches back on the scree to the right of the prominent snow field. The trail then passes BEHIND the large rock outcropping, crosses the snow field, and tops out just to the left of the low part of the pass.
