Jezera is highest and...
Jezera is highest and largest plateau on North Velebit. Average altitude of this vast undulating grassland, that is strewn with funnel shaped depressions (like the one on the photo), is between 1450 and 1500m. It is surrounded by idyllic peaks and gentle beech and spruce forests, at the upper edge of their possible habitat.
