July, 2000. Descending the mixed Col du Midi des Grands after ascending the Aiguille du Tour on the easier Swiss side. Mont Blanc is in the background - it is the rounded snow dome in the upper left corner of this photo. This route leads to the Glacier du Tour and the Refuge Albert I in France.
