Desperate NW Climbing?

That is one of the ugliest crack climbs I've seen yet (next to the garbage cracks on the Minarets). I see the NW hasn't changed.....

Re: Desperate NW Climbing?

Especially true if you're "spoiled" by that stuff in the Valley :)

Yeah, it's pretty mossy and lichen-covered with vegetation growing in the cracks but I think the route has seen enough traffic so that there's not that much loose stuff on it. The section on P2 thru. the crux is cleaner.

Thanks for stopping by.

Re: Desperate NW Climbing?

Oh yeah, we got tons of choss up here.

We also have lots of high quality climbs like the South Face of Prusick, Outer Space on Snow Creek Wall, etc. What climbs have you done up her besides Snake on the Chief?

Re: Desperate NW Climbing?

....also N. Ridge (of Stuart), Serpentine Arete, entire Liberty Bell group.....etc.... All solid stuff.

yes, the PNW does have its share of choss though - and Oregon seems to have gotten a disproportional share of it compared to WA or even ID.
