Klawatti Peak from the north...
Klawatti Peak from the north (from the upper reaches of the Klawatti Glacier not too far below Austera Peak) on August 4, 2004. Klawatti-Austera Col (7,900 ft) is at right. We used the snowbank on both sides for easy ski access. Sergio Verdina is futzing with his snowboard in the foreground.
