This is the "North Face" of...

This is the "North Face" of Cannon. The summit is a large block amongst that nipple of rocks at top-right. I did not have crampons and the snow was pretty hard in the shaded couloirs, so I instead went around to the right behind the ridge in the far-right foreground. Class 3 with a few class 4 moves along or near the ridge crest got me up to the summit plateau. August 16, 2002.

Great stuff

Your pics are all very helpful in showing off this hardly photographed mountain (especially this side) Nice pic and description of how you climbed it.
