Mid May on Malo Rujno...

Mid May on Malo Rujno plateau. Above is Vilinski Kuk (1401m), unmarked peak which can be climbed from the pass on the right (3h from Zavrata refuge). Orientation of climb from Malo Rujno is small grassy slope just bellow pass. View from the summit is fantastic. Wood fence is one of remainders of former life on Velebit that extinguished 50 years ago. Cattle were probably held here. Rocky fences, called Suhozid (dry wall), will remain much longer.
