Star Peak as seen from Courtney Peak to the northwest on July 27, 2002. Visible are the Northeast Buttress, North Face, Northwest Ridge, and Northwest/West Face. The East Ridge is on the left, the Southwest Ridge is on the right. At bottom-center is Fish Creek Pass (7,480 ft). At lower right is Star Lake at the head of East Fork Fish Creek. In the distance to the right of Star is Switchback Peak (8,321 ft). To the left of Star in the distance is Mt. Bigelow (8,440+ ft). The west end of Raven Ridge (approx. 8,580 ft) is just visible at far left.
