Approach
See the Getting There section to get to the trailhead.
Route Description
Easy trail about a mile and a half to a fork. A small square of plywood has a carved-in arrow to the right. DON'T take that way. Take the left fork and it's about .8 miles up and around to the summit. If you run into snow in early season, just head up, it's a pretty bare pyramid from just after the fork.
You can either take the same trail back down to re-join the main trail (the right fork goes on to Moore Mountain and then to McClellan Mountain) or you can just walk the east ridge down to Moore Mountain and pick up the trail in the saddle.
Essential Gear
None needed.
