Vratca W views

This is the W view from the tower above Vratca notch, in the N-NE ridge of Kočna. Below us is the valley of Makekova Kočna. From its end no trail goes up into the mountain wilderness of Kočna. There's also no trail along the ridge on the right. On the left, there's the NW ridge of Kočna. There the marked trail reaches Veliki vrh. On the other side of Jezersko resort (the village in the middle) there are the Karawanks mountains. Especially the long Košuta range is nicely seen, left of it are the highest summits around Stol/Hochstuhl. On the very left, far in the distance, are the Julian Alps with Triglav. September 4th, 2020.
