To Sugarloaf
Nice scramble to Sugarloaf. The scree slope is loose so I took it slow up and down. Round trip in just under 3 hours.

Upper scree slope sucks
Loved the lower 1200' feet of Falling Rock Cyn, but the last 400' of scree was the loosest I've ever been on. Bad line?? Who knows...

First time doing Class2/3
Very difficult, didn't expect the toughness. I had a heavy pack and still made it to the summit of Ontario Peak in 4 hrs!

Great morning workout
Very fun route. Took a side trip up the first scree slope on the left to the ridge between Fir Draw and FRC. Nice views up Ice House Canyon. Came back down and continued up the canyon to the saddle between Sugarloaf and Ontario then on up to the summit. 3 hrs car to car.

Dodged some bullets
Climbed in a group of 10 up the canyon and took the first prominent scree slope west that leads directly to the false summit. Dodged many foot-size rocks that were crushing down before we decided to climb on parallel chutes up the slope. Continued from Sugarloaf up the ridge to Ontario and then Bighorn and back via Icehouse Canyon.
yeah. Fun like being man handled by a wrestler. This canyon will make you kick yourself in the head. F' this F'ing canyon all night long. Poke a stick in my eye and call me billy. F. U. Theron Moon.

Still fun!
Second time up and fifth time down it, still a great canyon. This was the first time the nettle got me, but no bees. 135driver needs to be kicked in the head.
Done several times. The first time sucked ass. Theron likes it. I hate it. Stinging nettle. Second time almost broke a leg at least but my ice axe's leash saved me.
Some of my friends hate this route but I love it. Sometimes though there is bees at the lower waterfalls to look out for.

Too Late A Start
My son and I got started much too late to get all the way to the summit of Sugarloaf and back before dark. This canyon route sure beats any trail for fun though. Encountered a neat, 15 foot frozen waterfall along the way.

5 Peaks HIke
Used falling rock canyon to climb Sugarloaf Peak and start off my 5 peak hike with bechtt. Enjoyed the route even with the slog near the top of the ridge.
