"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

from triglav lakesIt was in 2003 or 2004, I do not remember, the Komarca trail was closed due to renovating, I had to go over Komna.I saw the Lakes for the first time, what a sight. Then I proceeded to V.Spicje, blessed loneliness, no people at all.I slept at Prehodavci, wanted to do The ledges of Kanjavec, but it was closed, too much snow.I climbed Vrsac and Kanjavec and ultimately arrived to Bohinj, the bath in the lake exquisite after long walk.

Autumn in the Valley of Triglav LakesWhen larches are golden you simply must go into the Valley of Triglav Lakes. And the day is long enough to proceed on one of the neighbouring mountains. Veliko Spicje is a fine goal.
The second time I ascended it, was in 1975, when we crossed a great part of Julian Alps, all the way from Vrsic pass. So we did also the whole ridge from Prehodavci pass and finally descended into Bohinj.
