Great close up!"That moment made my whole trip"
I know what you mean. Some of the best moments in nature that I had were an eye to eye with the Bighorn Sheep. Actually, many of these encounters where hours (not minutes) of tracking them, following them and finally hanging out right next to them while they rest and eat. Cheers.

Re: Great close up!Thanks Anya. Many times it's hard (but very rewarding!) work to get close enough to truly wild animals for photographs or just to coexist in peace with them (and I don't mean the ones that are accustomed to humans and handouts) but sometimes they behave in a way that makes one marvel and just show up at your doorstep unexpectedly, like this extremely inquisitive bachelor ;)
