Re: Who would've thoughtYa, I didn't either, I have seen them just below Francis peak at maybe 8500 ft but this was unexpected to find one up this high. It was cool up there and it wasn't moving very fast yet that morning. Thank goodness

Welcome to the club!Right on man! I think you and me are the only ones crazy enough to pick up snakes, and have pics to prove our manliness. But, you're more manly than me, cuz mine was a lowly blow snake. I almost stepped on a rattler in the very exact spot on Thurston.

Re: Welcome to the club!Really, Right on the summit huh? Im glad it was a bit cool, made him less aggressive. I use to pick up rattle snakes all the time, Only had one close call. I know , its not a smart thing to do.
