Gotta love those rangers! It's amazing! My wife and I both LOVE Mt. Shasta, and it looks perfectly CLEAR to us ...
from the highway! I suppose you have a trip report written up?
Dean , did you happen to see any signs of geothermal activity? Steam plumes or sulfur smells??? Thank you very kindly. Take care.

Re: Gotta love those rangers!Indeed, Shasta is a mountain I could return to again and again, it has a special flavor to it. However, I didn't get any whiffs of sulfur, geothermal activity or even moose droppings (thank goodness). The Trip report link is atop the picture called Hasta be Shasta. Thanks as always.

Say there, Dean ?Which one of those points is the
higher one? The one you have your
right hand upon? You probably didn't
have time to celebrate, with that
storm bearing down. Nice job!!!

Re: Say there, Dean ?They were pretty much the same elevation, maybe the right one a mere inch higher. Simple to hit them both.
A neat summit

Re: Fun PhotoSure, I can stand to lose 5 or 6 pounds.
The snowshoes have been in my closet for
10 years; I need to dig them out. Thanks!
