Gorgeous!As an avid amateur photographer going back many years I never thought I'd enjoy portrait work. But somehow it's worked its way into one of my favorite things--just as long as it's not in a studio! Anyway, this is beautiful work. Gorgeous. Whoever took it (did you set it up?) did a great job!

Actually I spotted this place on Medicine lake as a perfect way to filter water beyond the banks to avoid the mud. Then I thought, hey this is a neat spot, just them Rich Houghton came around the corner and I had him shoot me. He did it dead on! Luckily...I would have shot this about ten times to get it right but he got it in one...

I write outdoor articles every two weeks or so for the gjfreepress.com. I am a total amateur but it seems to pass the grade for my town, I need all the encouragement I can get. Iwould love to get an 8 pix Pentax maybe that is small but good. sugeestions?

Thanksti Rich Houghton... It was teh logical place to filter water and then I told Rich to shoot it. He got it in one try...I usually try 5 or so shots so I have different angles. Thanks. He did a great job.

I find that mornings spent near mountain lakes are magical and come through in the photos.

ExcellentThe artistry of this shot is wonderful. I love the simplicity. It could be anyone just getting water after getting up in the backcountry. Great shot.
