scary. . .

Is the picture misleading or is the traverse as scary as it looks?

Ledge is not scary...

Not scary at all. This is actually rather tame. I'd say 3rd class at best. Thanks for looking!

Tame?

It looks like you are high off the ground on a very narrow ledge.

I'd like too see something you find scary. :-)

My Wife is scary

I almost forgot our 1st anniversary this weekend, that was scary!
I tried to make the picture look scary, but the actual drop off is maybe twenty feet and the ledge is wide enough. Plus it is in the desert not three thousand+ feet in the air, loose as hell rocks, and clouds rolling in hard, and generally not as commiting as some mounatains I have put myself on, lately by myself cause nobody goes with me and if they do my wify has a nervous breakdown. Your profile looks scary too but at least you have a rope on, which is not always a garantee, loose rocks n all.

Mean time I'll try to find something scary for you in the way of pictures...ever been to the Palisades of California? I almost kicked it there....whew.

LOL . . .

about your picture. They pointed out you may have been trying to make the picture look dramatic. I'd say you did a good job. 20 feet doesn't sound too high. I would have guessed 40 or 5 feet.

I always feel much better roped up; that is why I prefer technical climbing to scrambling. :-)

I've never been to the Palisades. Lately, I've been more attracted to the desert
