"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Spur of the momentI didn't plan on climbing this one till I saw the social trail leading up, while hiking Section 16. Wasn't a bad mountain. Nothing special.

From Section 16 THThis was a pleasant hike albeit treacherous because of the ice on the trail in the shaded sections. It was not lost on me to notice some of the locals with mini crampons on their boots. I climbed both summits just in case and surprisingly met a group of four near the top. They wondered where they were and what was the closest way down to the main trail. They didn't seem interested in the true summit.

from section 16This was actually at least my sixth climb of this peak, up the south slopes from the trail. But it was the first time that I found the register, which is not located on the true summit, but at a false summit to the south! Beautiful day; climbed with Buddy and Molly, the dogs.

Via Section 16After our original plans were scuttled due to a car being driven off the road on upper Gold Camp, we headed to UN 8130 as a consolation prize. This is a lovely little mountain and it was amazing to me that, despite all the traffic on the Section 16 trails, we had the summit all to ourselves. Hiking partner: Deb. Dog: Bing.
