Pitkin
Climbed from Pitkin Lake with Craig, this was my Summit County and Eagles Nest Wilderness finisher peak. The route over from Pitkin is a long journey, the best way to cross the ridge is high on the shoulder of West Partner Peak then down a talus gully and across several grass benches to the base of Peak S.
Fund scramble between T and S with Sarah, John and Joe. What a beautiful place, except for mosquitos in camp!

From Upper Slate Lake with "Peak T"
I sure enjoyed the connecting ridge between "Peak T" and "Peak S." Beautiful weather (unbelievable weather, actually) and great company - Candace, Joe & John. The mosquitoes at camp, however, were blood thirsty!!! Dynamite views from this summit! The descent gully was evil, though. Natural rock fall off the slopes of "Peak R" almost brained us on the descent - pretty scary to be running, scattering, from flying boulders!
