Nice day
It was a very nice day climbing from Udala across the ridge of Udalatx, Erdikoatxa and Gallargain. We climbed Gongeta descending to hermit of Santa Lucia returning to Udala crossing the important col of Betsaide. The timing was more than 5h.

Full ridge
A full traverse of the mountain, on a round trip from Udala (Mondragón). Summit of Udalaitz in the first place, and then along the northwest ridge bagging the summits of Erdikoatxa and Atxaurrutxugane (Gaillargain), finishing at the Betsaide memorial. A beautiful mountain day

Route Climbed: From Udala (Mondragón)
Sunny but not hot day.
The views from the summit are very good.
We lose the path and we have to do part of the route without path, but without problems.
Route Climbed: Col of Kampazar and north face Date Climbed: 12th October 1999
We all climbed Udalaitz in a windy day, finding it an enjoyable hike. Nevertheless, I would advice any climber-to-be not to come down via the south face. There is a pine forest down there that proved to be almost impossible to cross
Route Climbed: West ridge (from Iguria) Date Climbed: 29 october 2005
A group of two persons walked up from Iguria (prov. Vizcaya) direction the west ridge. The hill over which stands the small chapel of Santa Lucía de Artadi was traversed left (instead of the longer right/SW path). Soon we noticed the southern strong (4 rate) winds which could give problems when taking the upper ridges. After 'tasting' it we decided that it was just safe enough to follow the ridge to the top (except the sharpened Erdikoatxa) of Udalaitz. Very windy but excellent temperature and clear conditions. In descend we visited the caves under the summit block. There are nice walls to do sport climbing just south under the summit, but it is not yet equipped.
