I have also seen cougar tracks up Red Pine Canyon, and I have friends that have seen them up White Pine Canyon. It seems as though there is a healthy population here in the Wasatch Mountains. Thank you for reading my report and your comments.

I hiked to the top of the East Twin yesterday. Very challeging. Very good read. I arrived on peak about 2:45pm. I wanted to bag the west peak, but with it getting late and being alone, I decided to decend the Robinson Route. This climb is very challenging and like you, I want to go back and bag the west peak.
