Nice! Any cement issues at 5000M?

Nice work! I was there around 1990, too much volcanic activity at the time to try for the summit. I know its a volcano, but is the ground warm enough at the surface so that cement (or concrete) will cure properly? Typically its not used in exposed freezing situations since the water in the 'mix' will turn to ice and it won't cure properly, the resulting dried cement will be weak and crack/fall apart quite easily.

Hey, now, 5 years later erosion has been a problem and the cross is slowly coming out (the base). Nevertheless it is still there and if necessary the guys of BTR for sure make a renovation. The heat is less of a problem, as the summit is a good piece above the crater. The warm parts, cracks and heat as well as steam coming out, are below and around the crater ... an awesome experience the climb!
