I shot this video (with Dan's help) of some ice climbing at Lincoln Falls on March 3, 2007. The ice was fat but brittle due to consistently cold temperatures all winter. Dan led any easy, low-angled pitch along the very right edge of the falls (his very first ice lead) and then we toproped the right flow. It was pretty cold and windy the whole time (not to mention we were in the shade all day) but we had a lot of fun. Lincoln Falls is awesome!

Man, that video sure makes it look a lot warmer than it actually was! Good climbing, next time we all lead at CCC on some WI3...

...and the ice is cold. I like the shot of Dan up there getting a full facial of spindrift near the end of the day. :-)
