On June 19, I hike up to San Gorgonio throught Vivian Creek. They claim it is the direct route to the peak. I arrived the trail head at 6:30 am. The distance is 7.8 miles and the elevation gain is about 5500 feet. The first mile is very steep, but I could handle with no problem. It might be I carried light backpack (not too heavy). Some parts of the trail are beautifull: under the shade, waterfall, bird sing----. The trail is long. I arrived at the peak at about 12:30 pm. I ate my lunch, talked on the radio, and took some pictures. Then, I were hurry to get down because it took me many hours to get down. I walked slow. I hiked down from the top at 1:30 pm. By the time I got to my car was about 6:30 am. I took me 12 hour to hike up and down Mt. San Gorgonio. Surprisely, I wasn't that tire. It might be I was well prepared. I will go to the peak again and again.
