Trail Overview

This photo shows much of the trail to Bilk Mountain. The trailhead is on the other side of Elk Mountain, which is the large mass on the left. The trail goes around the back of that mountain and along the long ridge in this photo. It can be seen switchbacking down the ridge on the right side. The south slope of Bilk is on the right. The trail contours across this slope before climbing the south side to the summit area. July 2007
