I like this page. My favorite book on the subject is "Black Hills National Forest - Harney Peak and the Historic Fire Lookout Towers". It was written by Jan Cerney and Roberta Sago. There is a wealth of old photos and interesting facts in this book. If you are interested in such things, I highly recommend it.
