Sounds like an awesome trip, of the hundreds of people who summit each year, very few actually do it the fun way, with crampons and ice axes! By the way, the date climbed says Nov 30, 1999.
I think you’re right; this is the best way to do it. We had the summit to ourselves (not really possible in the summer) and it was a nice change of scenery. I'll definitely do it again next year. Thanks for the heads up on the date too. I'm not sure what happened there. Take care.
Dang Travis you make that summit sound so dang good.At least you put up there I got hurt on the highest mountain in the USA . It gives me some sense of reassurance after me deciding not to summit a mountain that is a pile of dirt compared to Mckinley.(lol)but yeah what we went through was so worth it.Ill never forget that trip.We need to do some more stuff.
