This is the steep scree that...
This is the steep scree that you will ascend
from the hut to the saddle (with views of the
Eiger). Staying far to the left makes the
climbing easier but rockfall is always an
issue. We climbed this section in the dark and
only needed about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
