This is the long climb up the...
This is the long climb up the Southeast Ridge in winter (March 13th 2004). The grade is fairly steep all the way up to the summit plateau. The warm temperatures meant no crampons needed, though the ice axe was good for footing and possible self-arrest in the event of a slip.
